Dr Tom graduated from the Sydney Medical School (University of Sydney) in 2012 where he also completed Bachelor of Medical Science and Master of International Public Health degrees. He moved to Melbourne in 2013 to undertake his postgraduate training in General Practice for which he was awarded The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Richard Clinton Gutch Medal.

Dr Tom has additional qualifications and special interests in HIV care, LGBTIQ+ health, sexual health, trans & gender diverse health and viral hepatitis care. When not seeing patients in Melbourne, Dr Tom works in international development primarily in the Asia-Pacific region, and makes sure to find time to entertain his love of music and theatre.
